Visafig is an independent data-visualization project focused on one thing: making U.S. immigration priority-date data understandable and actionable. We are not a law firm, not a petition preparer, and not affiliated with the U.S. government.

The Visa Bulletin ships as dense tables that are easy to read for one month and impossible to reason about over time. Applicants keep asking the same planning questions — “when will I be current?”, “what date do I need?”, “EB-2 or EB-3?” — that no single official page answers. Visafig builds the calculators and figures to answer them, always sourced from the official bulletins.
Our standards
- 100% of cutoff data traces to the Department of State; processing data to USCIS.
- We show our math (see Methodology) and label every estimate as a planning aid.
- When data is missing or a category is Unavailable, we say so — we do not guess.

Who builds Visafig
Visafig is built and maintained by a small team of immigration data researchers who verify every cutoff against the official U.S. Department of State Visa Bulletin and USCIS processing reports. We track monthly cutoff movements, cross-check against DOS-published annual numerical limits, and flag every estimate explicitly so applicants understand what is and is not a guarantee. Our work has been cited by immigration forums and legal blogs as a reliable planning resource for employment-based and family-based priority-date tracking.
