Visafig runs on one rule: no fabricated data. Every cutoff date, movement chart, and processing estimate on this site traces to an official U.S. government publication. Below is the full source list and the exact steps we take before anything goes live.

- U.S. Department of State — Visa Bulletin. All priority-date cutoffs (Final Action Dates and Dates for Filing), family and employment, all countries of chargeability. Published monthly. travel.state.gov
- USCIS — Processing Times. Median processing times per form and service center. Published monthly. egov.uscis.gov/processing-times
- USCIS — Forms & Fees. Government filing fees used in cost comparisons. uscis.gov/forms

Verification workflow
- Each monthly bulletin is ingested on its publication day and stored verbatim (DOS date format).
- Cutoff values are cross-checked against the official HTML table before publishing.
- Movement rates used in projections are computed only from stored, verified months — never assumed.
- When a category is Unavailable (U), tools explicitly decline to project rather than guess.
